What Is A Mentor?
A mentor is a special friend who helps our girls value their virginity. They share Christian experience from their own lives to offer guidance, support, encouragement and God's love. Mentors are requested to commit to the Mentee for 8 hours per month.
Guidelines for Volunteer Mentors
Establishing Rapport
Engage in weekly calls to discuss well-being and support.
Developing Bonds
Spend time twice a month with the mentee on activities like church, shopping, or sports.
Growing Faith
Play scripture trivia games once a month to help the mentee grow her faith.
Teaching Life Skills
Teach budgeting and shopping skills during monthly outings.
Providing Emotional Support
Offer good listening skills during outreach and weekly calls to address issues affecting spiritual growth.
Celebrating Mentee
Support and recognize the mentee's special accomplishments and milestones like birthdays and graduations.
